Suns unveil new Statement uniform for 2022-23 season

Phoenix Suns to Reintroduce Classic “Sunburst” Nike Hardwood Classic Edition Uniform

In honor of the 30-year anniversary of its debut, the Phoenix Suns are bringing back their iconic Nike Hardwood Classic Edition uniform Cheap NBA Jerseys. The team recently unveiled the classic rising “Sunburst” look, which will be worn throughout the 2022-23 season. To commemorate the occasion, the Suns will also host “immersive 90s nights” and launch a special Hardwood Classics apparel collection alongside the release of the uniforms.

The “Sunburst” design marked a significant redesign of the Suns’ uniforms, and it made its debut on November 7, 1992. Interestingly, this date also marked the regular-season opener and the first NBA game to be played inside the Footprint Center, which was formerly known as America West Arena.

During the 1992-93 season, the Suns achieved a remarkable record of 62-20 and made it to the NBA Finals for the first time since 1976. The team’s success was led by star players like Charles Barkley, who earned the NBA MVP title that season, as well as Dan Majerle, Kevin Johnson, and other notable talents.

As the Suns bring back the beloved “Sunburst” uniform, fans and basketball enthusiasts alike can look forward to a nostalgic celebration of the team’s storied history and the unforgettable moments associated with this classic design.

 

The team later unveiled a refreshed Statement uniform that replaces the all-orange look from recent years. This editionโ€™s primary color is black with numbers and trim that feature the colored pixelated gradient made popular by the Utah Jazz and, more recently, Phoenixโ€™s โ€œValleyโ€ uniforms that have accompanied the franchiseโ€™s rise to title contender.
